  26. This may seem a stupid question, but did you check to see if S0=1 in your active profile? Seems to me that 
  27. either:
  28. (i)    Your system is issuing the AT&F instruction, which may be preset to S0=1, or
  29. (ii)    Your active profile has S0=1. If so, then try
  30.         ATS0=0
  31.         AT&W0
  32.         ATZ0
  33. and see what happens. There is no other reason why you can't kill auto-answer.

  38. There is a certain species of fish where the parents eat their
  39. young. I used to wonder as to why nature would produce something 
  40. so self-destructive and pointless. I would think, "how could the
  41. parents eat the young that they have invested so much effort into
  42. rearing?".

  44. Now, looking at my two-and-a-half-year-old, I can sympathise with
  45. the parent fish.
