- This may seem a stupid question, but did you check to see if S0=1 in your active profile? Seems to me that
- either:
- (i) Your system is issuing the AT&F instruction, which may be preset to S0=1, or
- (ii) Your active profile has S0=1. If so, then try
- ATS0=0
- AT&W0
- ATZ0
- and see what happens. There is no other reason why you can't kill auto-answer.

- There is a certain species of fish where the parents eat their
- young. I used to wonder as to why nature would produce something
- so self-destructive and pointless. I would think, "how could the
- parents eat the young that they have invested so much effort into
- rearing?".
-
- Now, looking at my two-and-a-half-year-old, I can sympathise with
- the parent fish.
